Retro Corduroy Overalls

• These overalls are an upcycle from another item.
• The pattern was a vintage pattern, so these are authentic both in fabric and in style.
• Older overalls often had the bib attached separately (as is the case here), and feature elastic in back waist only. 
• The straps crisscross over the back for a unique look.

• Made from fine stripe corduroy.

Vintage Hexagons

Priced at $80

I'm a bit retro. I've been known to sew and wear the styles from the 60's and 70's.

• I'm a sucker for collecting the old quilts from my Grandma's stash from long ago.
• So what am I to do when a collection of authentic vintage fabrics fall to me?

• So I used a large half hexagon template to cut my pieces, Then came the puzzle time, laying out the pieces so they would match once the rows were sewn together.
• Sticking with the vintage theme, I decided to use the tie method of "quilting", using cotton thread to tie a series of knots spaced several inches apart to keep the batting from shifting.
• Made from cotton and poly cotton blends.
• Measures 48.5" x 65"

A place where I can showcase my skills and talents. 

I learned to sew at a young age, under the tutelage of my patient mother. Watching her and hours of practice gave me the confidence to tackle many patterns as well as design my own.

I sew clothing, I wear a lot of Made By Linda B, my children over the years, and now for others - mainly the little ones.

I also sew baby blankets, quilts and table runners or toppers.
